A powerful system solution consists of various well-synchronized components. The centerpiece is always the software with its comprehensible graphical interface that supports the user throughout the card production process: from entering data up to ID administration. Equally important are the hardware components as well as printer and PC.

With the complete integration of special digital camera types into IDCARD 4, taking pictures directly via PC is also possible. All camera settings, zooming and triggering are initiated on keystroke. Thanks to this integration the high picture quality of state-of-the-art digital cameras is combined with easy PC-controlled picture capture. Download of pictures directly from SmartMedia cards is also possible.

If a motorized tripod (optional) is employed, the user can additionally turn and tip the camera via remote control. An additional lighting set guarantees optimal lighting for portraits with maximum quality.

The signature pad makes card personalization still easier. Just capture signatures for direct import into IDCARD 4 and save time-consuming scanning or photographing of paper copies.

For encoding Hitag, Legic and Mifare contact and contactless chip cards we integrate specially developed encoding modules into a large variety of FARGO printers. Up to four different encoding types (barcode, magstripe, contact chip, contactless chip) can be applied onto a card in one single step.
